Snow on the cherries

It snowed some more today.  We got something like a foot or so.  It was cold enough that it was a dry powdery snow, not a heavy, sticky fall.  Makes it much easier to clean up.  Because the wind was light, the snow piled up on every horizontal surface, even tiny branches like these.  The wind will probably reawaken and clear this off by the morning.

  1. Nice shot, Buck. A foot of snow? Oh, yuck!

  2. A foot of snow isn't too bad. We'll get four or five of those storms a winter, so generally the cities are equipped to handle it. TWO feet gets to be an actual problem, though!
