Yesterday was a very warm day. The air temperature was well above freezing, above 40F even! This is the perfect condition for fog to develop - warm air over cold snow on the ground. I took the opportunity to take a walk through St John's and Vale cemeteries. I like the crow flying through this one.

This is a color photograph, isn't it? It's interesting how fog gives a black-and-white look to the world, even more so than snow.
ReplyDeleteYes, the crow really adds to the atmosphere.
p.s. I like the pixilated effect of some of the stones in the center.
ReplyDeleteI love the effect fog has on a landscape. Nice subject too.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture, Buck. I like those old headstones and monuments, especially enveloped in the fog.
ReplyDeleteYes, this is a colour photo, although Mother Nature has her own sense of colour some days!
