Faded angel

This angel is in Vale Cemetery, on the Steinführer monument.  It's a white marble statue, and the sky was very light the day I took the photo.  I tried several exposure settings, but I sort of like how this one turned out.

Angel

I went for a walk in Vale Cemetery to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet, and found myself following someone's footprints. They lead to one of the small buildings, where I saw this small angel statue on the stonework near the door. What a beautiful thought.

Angel in Vale

Went for a walk in Vale Cemetery yesterday. On the north side, many trees were downed by the ice storm in December. One side effect was seeing this copper angel - I must have walked by her a dozen times, but she was hidden in the trees. Today, she's impossible to miss! I tried one of Babooshka's fancy 'sun on the lens' shots and I kind of like it.
