Rabbie Burns Day

Today is the birthday of the Scottish poet Robert Burns.  I'm not sure I can convince the family to partake of a Burns supper, but I can at least wear my kilt to work.  It's still 0F outside.  Woolen socks help a lot.

New outfits

We went to the Capital District Scottish Games yesterday, and on the spur of the moment bought kilts.  Neither is a traditional kilt.  His is a special design called a 'Sportkilt' and mine is a Utilikilt.  It's a US-made, informal kilt designed to be an informal, all-around garment.  It's cotton/polyester, so it can go in the washing machine and it has pockets!  Can't go wrong with something this practical.
