Shelf mushrooms

These shelf mushrooms are reclaiming an old, fallen branch down in the bottom of Vale, near the Cowhorn Creek.  I had a hard time deciding how to frame this.  One of these days I'm going to learn how to use a photo program so I can post-process!

Wild mushrooms

There used to be a maple tree out front, but it was very old, branches were dead and falling down, so the city came and cut it down. The stump is still there, and although that old maple isn't alive any longer, it has birthed these mushrooms, growing in a pyramid right in the middle.
