The camera built into the phone does OK when the subject is fully sunlit, as these trees are. We took a ride up to the Moccasin Kill preserve, where there are walking trails among the hills and streams. A very relaxing place to spend a few hours.

What an incredible name! Any clue as to why it's called like that? Lovely autumn colours!
ReplyDeleteWell, 'kill' is a Dutch word meaning creek or stream. I don't know the history of this particular creek, but this area is the easternmost border of the Mohawk Indians' traditional land.
