The day after Thanksgiving is called Black Friday in the US. I don't do a lot of shopping, but the name does give me the opportunity to post a portrait of Spot, the black cat. He's getting older, and is just a bit grizzled but he still has that twinkle in his eye!

Nice to meet Spot! I like the little kinks in his long wiskers. He has a sweetly shaped face. Fun post for BF. Ha ha, V! Well, Meeps looks different to me than Spot. I think I could tell them apart if I saw them both, but they both seem to me to be on the petite side.

Spot is a beauty! The best representation of Black Friday I've seen so far. We once had a black kitty named Lucie. She lived to be 17 years old, and we enjoyed every minute with her!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like I've always had a black cat in the house. When I was growing up, Midnight was ours. She lived to be at least 21. Spot here is about 16. Hard to be precise; he's a rescue. And has become very affectionate now that the cold weather has arrived.
ReplyDeleteAnd Spot looks so much like mon chat noir Meeps! Love this.
