A lone icicle. Great shot! Happy weekend!

That is quite the dagger there, Buck. At least I am seeing some blue sky in the background. Its gray in the Seattle area, as usual. :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI do like how it stands out in the photo. I spent half my childhood visiting Schenectady and family. I remember many winters like this!
ReplyDeleteHi - icicles are a bit thin on the ground in Australia - so it’s good to see one!
ReplyDeleteAs for the comment about "getting used to your camera" - I think that goes for all of us, because just as you master one, it’s time to upgrade!!! Oh the wonders of technology!

Oh, excellent image! I'm liking that bare tree against the sky!
ReplyDeleteit's been a while since my last visit, so i wanted

this shot stopped me cold(pun)! that gleam off the icicle is the joint! - possibly like you, i briefly considered a little more light on the wall so as to show the texture. but nah! this would distract from the main attraction. besides, there's enough drama in the tree.
this picture is wonderful the way it is. :-)
i'm no expert, but i know what i like when i like it!
thank you for sharing this, Buck.
