This is the pond in Vale. I'm standing on the south bank, where the sun shines through the gap in the trees. The sun doesn't shine nearly as much on the north bank, and that's where the ice begins to form.

ReplyDeleteI was in Tropical Borneo until I was 20. I dreamt of a white Christmas. I went to Canada and had my white Christmas. Those two cold winter was enough for me.
ReplyDeleteNow, I can jump able in the fountain if I was younger, or if I have grand children.
There are days when I'd trade my white winter (it doesn't always snow for Christmas!) for tropical Borneo!!
