Bee in the snow

Spent a good deal of time chopping ice (compressed snow) this weekend.  Incredibly, found a bee on the top of the snow.  I have no idea where it came from; the ground is completely covered several feet deep.  All I can guess is that it came from someone's house.

  2. It was jarring to see a bee in the middle of the winter. Wish it had stayed inside though...
