St John's in the fog

Yesterday was a very warm day.  The air temperature was well above freezing, above 40F even!  This is the perfect condition for fog to develop - warm air over cold snow on the ground.  I took the opportunity to take a walk through St John's and Vale cemeteries.  I like the crow flying through this one.

  1. This is a color photograph, isn't it? It's interesting how fog gives a black-and-white look to the world, even more so than snow.
Yes, the crow really adds to the atmosphere.

  4. Great picture, Buck. I like those old headstones and monuments, especially enveloped in the fog.

  5. Yes, this is a colour photo, although Mother Nature has her own sense of colour some days!
