Shelf fungi

There are some dark, moist areas in Jackson's Garden on the Union College campus. Perfect for these shelf mushrooms to grow. What an amazing colour to see among the earthy greens and browns of the deep woods.

    These are actually quite beautiful and again well spotted. I am always looking for stiff like this, and none to date.
